Alessandra Abe Pacini, PhD

Space Physicist (US citizen born in Brazil), studying the Sun, the Earth's atmosphere and some physical processes occurring in between. Dr. Pacini is focused on spreading quality scientific information to students, general public and underrepresented groups, motivating girls in STEM and promoting gender equality in the Space Physics area. Wrote the collection of books Girls InSpace and is a nominated mentor of the UN Space4Women Network (2020-2021).
